BuiltFirst 3D / Process
Process
Six steps, with something for you to look at and approve after the second one, so nothing is a surprise at the end.
- A callWhat is it, who is it for, and where does it have to run: a booth, a website, a sales deck, a training room.
- Your drawingsCAD, drawings, photos and the spec sheet. I'll sign your NDA first if you need one.
- Clay modelThe shape in plain grey, from the angles that matter, for you to check before any color goes on.
- The lookMaterials and light on one hero still. You approve the look once and it carries through everything.
- MotionA rough cut of the camera and the movement, then the full render.
- DeliveryThe film in every size you need, wide and vertical, plus stills from any frame.
Questions
Asked before you have to.
Something not here? Call or text and ask.
- Q
Can you work from our CAD?
Send STEP if you have it. I'll test your file first and tell you what comes through cleanly. Drawings, photos and published dimensions work too.
- Q
How long does a film take?
It depends on the machine and how much CAD exists. You'll get a date on the call, after I've seen the drawings, and clay checks along the way so nothing surprises you at the end.
- Q
What does it cost?
Every project is quoted on a call. The price depends on how many parts there are, how long the film runs and where it has to play.
- Q
What about revisions and who owns the files?
Both get written into the quote before any work starts: how many rounds of changes, which files you get, and where you can use them. No surprises at the end.
- Q
Can you keep it confidential?
Yes. I'll sign your NDA before you send drawings, and nothing goes on this site unless you say so.
- Q
Do you only do machines?
No. Machines, products and buildings all work. The valve, the can, the clock tower and the two buildings on this site are examples.
